Help & Support

Received a new earbud or case? Here you will find all the steps to pair it.

Pairing a separate Earbuds Restore

Yes, that is possible! As long as the separate Earbuds Restore are the same generation and model as your existing Earbuds Restore, you can use them together in one case.

This is exactly what Earbuds Restore specializes in: separate replacement Earbuds Restore that fit seamlessly with your current set.

Important

You cannot combine Earbuds Restore from different generations. An Earbuds Restore 2 does not work together with an Earbuds Restore 3. Unsure which generation you have? Check your model number or send us a photo via WhatsApp.

Pairing a new separate Earbuds Restore is simple. In a few steps, both Earbuds Restore will work together again.

Step by step:

  1. Put both Earbuds Restore in the case
Place your existing and your new Earbuds Restore in the charging case.
  2. Charge the case
Connect the case to a charger and wait at least 5 minutes.
  3. Open the case near your iPhone/iPad
Hold the case close to your device and open the lid.
  4. Hold the button on the case
Hold the button on the back of the case until the light flashes white.
  5. Pair via the pop-up screen
An animation will appear on your screen. Tap "Connect" and follow the instructions.

No pop-up?

Go to Settings → Bluetooth and look for your Earbuds Restore there. Tap on it to connect. Not working? Try "Forget this device" and start again.

Pair new charging case

Linking a new case to your existing Earbuds Restore? That is possible, but you need to reset the Earbuds Restore. No worries, it’s quick and easy.

Step by step:

  1. Charge the new case
Connect the case for at least 15 minutes before you start.
  2. Place both Earbuds Restore in the new case
Make sure they click properly and make contact.
  3. Close the case and wait 30 seconds
The Earbuds Restore need to recognize the new case.
  4. Reset the case
Open the case, hold the button for 15 seconds until the light flashes orange and then white.
  5. Pair again with your device
Keep the case near your iPhone/iPad and follow the pairing instructions on the screen.

Attention

Make sure the case is the same generation as your Earbuds Restore. An Earbuds Restore Pro 2 case does not work with Earbuds Restore Pro 1.

Common problems

No need to worry – this can usually be fixed with a few steps. Often, it’s just a matter of pairing again.

Try this:

  1. Check if the generation matches
You cannot combine Earbuds Restore of different generations.
  2. Turn Bluetooth off and on again
On your iPhone/iPad and other paired devices.
  3. Use "Forget this device"
Go to Settings → Bluetooth → tap the (i) icon next to your Earbuds Restore → "Forget this device".
  4. Reset the case
With both Earbuds Restore inside: hold the button for 15 seconds until the light flashes orange and white.
  5. Pair again
Open the case near your device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Charging issues are often easy to fix. Usually, there is dirt on the contact points or something is wrong with the charger.

Check these things:

  1. Clean the contact points
Use a dry, lint-free cloth for the underside of the Earbuds Restore and the inside of the case.
  2. Try a different cable and adapter
Sometimes the cable is the problem, not the case.
  3. Check if the Earbuds Restore fits firmly
The Earbuds Restore must sit firmly in the case. Do you hear a click?
  4. Try a different power socket
Or a different USB port if you are charging via the computer.

Still no solution?

If the case or Earbuds Restore still does not charge after these steps, please contact us. Within the warranty period, we will find a solution together.

Account, 'Find My' & disconnect

If your Earbuds Restore are still linked to an old unlinking ID, you must first remove them there before you can link them to a new account.

Here is how to remove Earbuds Restore from 'Find My':

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad
Tap your name (unlinking ID) at the top.
  2. Go to 'Find My'
Tap on "Find My" or "Find My iPhone".
  3. Find your Earbuds Restore in the list
    Scroll down to "My devices".
  4. Remove the device
Tap on the Earbuds Restore and choose "Remove this device" or "Erase Earbuds Restore".

Bought secondhand Earbuds Restore?

If you have taken over Earbuds Restore from someone else, ask the previous owner to remove them from their disconnect ID. Without that step, you cannot use some functions.
