Every case is tested for charging and pairing. You choose from five condition grades — Like New, Excellent, Good, Used and Budget — with the price dropping along with the cosmetic condition. Like New comes with a 12-month warranty, the refurbished grades with 6 months. And unlike single earbuds, a charging case can simply be returned within 14 days.

Frequently asked questions
Does a replacement charging case work with my existing AirPods?
Yes, as long as the case is from the same generation as your earbuds. Place your earbuds in the replacement case, keep the lid open and re-pair the set with your phone. For AirPods Pro 2 the connector must match too: Lightning earbuds belong with the Lightning case and USB-C earbuds with the USB-C case.
How do I know which charging case I need?
Look at the model number on the inside of the lid of your old case, or on the earbuds themselves. That A-number tells you exactly which generation you have. If you no longer have a case, use the model number on one of your earbuds and our model number guide on the blog to determine the right generation.
Can I return a charging case if it turns out not to match?
Yes. Charging cases come with the full 14-day cooling-off period — the hygiene exclusion that applies to single earbuds does not apply to cases. Return the case in its original condition within 14 days of notifying us. If you ordered the wrong generation, the return shipping is at your expense; if the item is defective or we shipped the wrong one, we cover it.
How much does a replacement AirPods charging case cost?
The price depends on the generation, version and condition. Cases for AirPods 1 start at €23.80 and for AirPods 2 at €28.80. An AirPods 3 case starts at €53.80, AirPods 4 at €58.80, AirPods Pro 2 at €73.80 and AirPods Pro 3 at €92.80. In Like New condition you pay the most and get a 12-month warranty.
