Design & Fit
One of the biggest differences between the AirPods and AirPods Pro lies in the design and fit.
AirPods design
The standard AirPods have a universal fit without silicone ear tips. They sit loosely in your ear and are ideal for people who do not want pressure on their ear canal. The downside is that they stay in place less well with some ear shapes.

Noise cancelling: the big difference
This is the most important difference between the two models.
The AirPods Pro feature Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) that actively blocks ambient noise. This is ideal for busy offices, public transport or flights. The standard AirPods have no noise cancelling and let more ambient noise through.
Transparency mode
The AirPods Pro also have a transparency mode that lets you hear your surroundings without taking the earbuds out. Perfect for short conversations or when walking in traffic.

Water and sweat resistance
